Summary Responsible for promoting a safe work environment and ensuring employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely by coordinating and implementing safety programs, policies, and training initiatives to prevent accidents, mitigate risks, and maintain regulatory compliance. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs, policies, and procedures.
-Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels, including new hires, existing employees, and supervisors. -Assist in the implementation of incident reporting systems and processes. -Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, safety deficiencies, and non-compliance issues. -Facilitate regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture. -Assist in coordinating safety committee meetings and initiatives. -Maintain accurate records of safety training activities, including attendance, completion, and certifications. -Continuously evaluate and enhance safety programs, training materials, and processes based on feedback, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
