Position Overview: Quality Innovation is responding to a proposal request, contingent upon contract award, for The New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, a state-operated long-term care facility dedicated to serving honorably discharged veterans. It provides a safe, supportive environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, resident-centered care with dignity and respect. The home offers comprehensive medical, nursing, and rehabilitative services, along with therapeutic recreation programs, to all residents, including a life-enhanced dementia unit Duties and Responsibilities: RN Requirements: * Conduct physical assessments, including psychiatric or admission assessments. * Administer medications. * Process physician orders. * Monitor vital signs. * Test blood glucose levels. * Complete treatments. * Conduct pain assessments. * Change dressings. * Complete management of the milieu. * Use the NHVH electronic health record (EHR) to obtain clinical information and document resident care in a timely manner. * Communicate verbally and in writing to report related findings. * Use principles of infection control and universal precautions to support resident treatment, recovery, and/or infection prevention.
