Summary of the Job:

The Data, Reporting & Operations Analyst is responsible for overseeing data infrastructure, reporting functions, and operational processes supporting Wealth Management. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial and client data, while driving automation, system optimization, and process improvements. The position serves as a key liaison across Operations, Finance, and Wealth Management teams to support business performance, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives.

About This Role:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Data Management & Systems Oversight

  • Administer and maintain core operational databases, including client, fee, revenue, and asset data systems
  • Oversee database design, enhancements, and performance optimization for large datasets
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple platforms
  • Manage database reconciliation processes between systems (e.g., Trust and portfolio systems)
  • Evaluate and implement system upgrades, including SQL Server and database compatibility improvements

Reporting & Analytics

  • Lead the development, production, and distribution of recurring and ad hoc reports
  • Oversee all fee, revenue, finance, and profitability reporting
  • Produce key business metrics, including account activity, asset values, and operational statistics
  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based reporting tools (macros, pivot tables, automation)
  • Analyze data trends and provide insights to support decision-making

Operational Process Management

  • Manage and execute critical operational workflows, including:
    • Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) annual processing
    • Risk rating processes and periodic updates
    • Fee billing and tax-related fee processing
    • Statement generation, sequencing, and distribution
  • Oversee client outbound file processes and onboarding of new reporting/file requirements
  • Support bill pay processes and specialized transaction workflows
  • Oversee vendor (FIS/Advent) uploads and timely loading into databases.
  • Coordinate time-sensitive and holiday-related disbursement activities

Systems, Automation & Technology

  • Design and implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Maintain and enhance job scheduling and workflow tools (e.g., VisualCron)
  • Support enterprise systems, including FIS reporting platforms and data integrations
  • Lead or support system upgrades, migrations, and testing efforts
  • Develop and maintain documentation for processes, systems, and automation

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Support risk and control processes, including risk rating methodologies and enhancements
  • Perform monitoring activities such as overdraft reviews and compliance testing
  • Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and internal control reviews
  • Maintain thorough documentation to support audit and compliance requirements

Project Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement scalable solutions
  • Participate in strategic initiatives related to data, reporting, and operations

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Wealth Management, Finance, and Operations teams to support reporting and data needs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for data systems, reporting tools, and operational workflows
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to data and reporting

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, database management, and data analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Access database management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros, automation, and pivot tables
  • Strong understanding of wealth management, trust, and financial operations
  • Experience with reporting platforms and workflow automation tools (e.g., VisualCron or similar)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Basic and Python coding environment
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and Salesforce
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FIS systems, TrustDesk, or similar financial platforms
  • Experience supporting system migrations or large-scale data projects
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
