Job Overview:

The Senior, Jewelry Operations plays a vital role in upholding the elevated standards that define our Jewelry business. The Senior supports critical workflows across trunk show reconciliation, vendor billing, repairs, warranties, sustainability, and inventory movement, ensuring that our teams have what they need to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly detail oriented, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple cross-functional workstreams that require clear communication and strong follow through.

Essential Functions:

Trunk Show Setup Operations Support



  • Serve as a store liaison for operational questions & support topics including ringing instructions, scan sheet creation, liability forms, partnering with merchant on loyalty offer issues/resolution when necessary.


Trunk Show Reconciliation & Vendor Billing



  • Manage weekly trunk show reconciliation in partnership with store operations and FJ managers, ensuring accurate reporting and completion of merchant recaps detailing final item disposition.
  • Partner with accounts payable/corporate accounting, and store teams to reconcile returns.
  • Work directly with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and reconcile statements as needed.
  • Serve as the AP escalation point for high priority vendor concerns.


Repairs Program Management



  • Review monthly repair statements in partnership with Bloomingdale's Finance team to ensure accuracy and alignment with approved pricing and policies.
  • Partner with stores to strengthen compliance, ensure correct customer charges, and reinforce adherence to all repair protocols.
  • Address operational gaps and provide guidance to stores where additional support is needed.


Warranty Program Management



  • Oversee warranty operations for select luxury vendors.
  • Partner with store to ensure clear understanding of warranty requirements and correct procedural execution.
  • Monitor compliance using vendor brand portals and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with vendors on policy and program updates and communicate changes accordingly.


Store Compliance - RTVs & Markups



  • Communicate RTV and markup listings in partnership with central and store operations. Track post issuance compliance and conduct follow up to address gaps.
  • Reinforce compliance standards and support stores in achieving ROF performance targets.


Special Orders



  • Support the processing and coordination of special orders for select buying teams, ensuring timely resolution of issues across stores and vendors.


Sustainability Program Management



  • Partner with Macy's Sustainability team to gather required forms, certifications, and renewals from all fine jewelry vendors.
  • Ensure vendors maintain compliance with Macy's sustainability standards and documentation requirements.


Inventory Movement (SITs)



  • Support SITs and other inventory movement activities on an ad hoc basis in partnership with FJ merchant planning team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year colleague or university.
  • 4+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects and be flexible in response to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Values keeping others informed and has the ability to present information in a clear, concise, manner.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to succeed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.


Essential Physical Requirements:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing and walking.
  • Ability to bend, reach, hear, and communicate as needed.
  • Continuous use of computers and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. as required.
