What You'll Do
  • Conduct regular assessments of competitors' strategies, product offerings, and pricing to identify areas of opportunity and competitive differentiation; provide insights and recommendations on competitive positioning
  • Develop pricing models and strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Develop sales solutions, including pricing recommendations and service solutions
  • Drive commercial strategy and performance, including market positioning, pricing discipline, margin management, and strategic customer focus
  • Establish and reinforce commercial excellence standards across strategic accounts, including pricing discipline, margin expectations, and deal governance
  • Evaluates market trends, competitive dynamics, and commercial opportunities to inform business strategy, pricing discipline, and portfolio optimization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are needed to reduce complicated / complex pricing programs to terms understandable by CMC leadership and operations personnel (both in written and verbal)
  • High level of commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategy, margin management, and deal structure
  • Maintain market pricing intelligence
  • Maintain pricing files in support of sales organization(s)
  • Support pricing models and approaches to optimize profitability.
What You'll Need
  • Ability to meet and build relationships with internal/external customers and perform rate negotiations with said customers while keeping us in line with current market pricing.
  • Understanding of the construction bid process and pricing methodologies
  • Work with product management on evaluating price lists and pricing strategy
  • Working with BI/Power BI to understand pricing reports
  • Work with Sales Leadership to report and review trends/impacts of Pricing, Rebates, Freight, Shipments, Data verification, Forecasting to Proactively identify patterns, gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, pricing strategy, or commercial operations.
Your Education
  • "Bachelor's degree in one of the following area: Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration "
