Experience preferred, however we will train the right person. This is a 2nd shift position with a 4-day (10 hours/day) workweek from Monday thru Thursday, 4pm -2:30am. Recent base wage increase is ultra-competitive, and there's an additional $1/hour shift differential for this 2nd shift role.

Summary

Operate a forklift to load and unload parts and materials.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Follow ALL Safe work practices, LOTO, PPE, JHA's, Sops, Wait for the Wave, etc.
2. Complete forklift training (online and hands-on by trainer on the shop floor)
3. Ability to operate a forklift and attachments required to do the job
4. Skill and ability to meet or exceed the standardsized expectations
5. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
6. Ability to operate plant scanners and computers to print or scan tickets and conduct inventory
7. Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work area. Willing to correct unsafe conditions under his/her control and report those s/he cannot ix to a lead or supervisor. (Responsible for handling foam without damage, and reporting damage if it does occur)
8. Perform other duties as directed by supervision
9. Accurate use of the bin-to-bin process (SOP)
10. Able to prioritize activities and communicate effectively with coworkers

Qualifications and Education Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED

2. Basic math skills
3. Organizational skills
