Job Title AV Technician Overview We are seeking contract AV Technicians to support highvisibility audiovisual and virtual care initiatives across multiple hospital locations in the Puget Sound region. This role plays a critical part in supporting the opening of the new Hospital, the transition to a virtual sitting platform and ongoing operational AV and endpoint needs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical generalist who enjoys onsite work, adapts quickly to shifting priorities, and is comfortable supporting both large-scale implementations and daytoday troubleshooting in active clinical environments. Required Skills * Audiovisual (AV) technology support * Hands-on technical or field support experience (IT, AV, or telecom) * Troubleshooting and issue resolution * Telecommunications and signal routing * Strong customer service and communication skills * Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced environments Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves) * Experience supporting healthcare or clinical environments * Familiarity with virtual care, telehealth, or endpoint technologies * Experience supporting go-lives or new facility openings Key Responsibilities * Provide onsite AV and endpoint support across multiple hospital locations * Support project implementations and go-live events, including new hospital openings * Assist with virtual sitting platform transition * Troubleshoot and resolve AV, telecom, and endpoint issues * Coordinate closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams * Adapt daily priorities based on operational and project needs Additional Qualifications * Ability to travel locally between hospital sites (within approximately 45 minutes of Tacoma) * Comfortable working in active clinical and operational environments * Able to learn new platforms and technologies quickly with minimal formal training * Dependable; able to work independently once oriented * Willing to occasionally visit warehouse facilities in Fife to retrieve hardware Work Environment * Primarily onsite across hospitals in the Puget Sound region * Work is split between: * Project implementation and go-live support * Operational AV and endpoint support * Fast-paced, collaborative environment where team members frequently "wear multiple hats" based on daily needs Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tacoma, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
