What you will be doing?

This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently pursuing a proposal and are seeking qualified candidates to include in our submission and identify candidates for future hiring needs on the program once awarded.

  • Core Knowledge & Skills: Leads complex requirement analysis, manages stakeholder relationships, and mentors junior analysts.

  • Work & Complexity: Oversees complex projects, performs advanced data analysis, and drives process optimization.

  • Quality & Independence: Produces comprehensive documentation, seeks continuous improvement, and works independently.

  • Teamwork & Communication: Leads cross-functional teams, aligns project goals, and provides mentorship.

  • Consulting & Engagement: Advises on strategic initiatives, provides advanced consultation, and supports process reengineering.

As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Business Systems Analyst.

Project Summary

The Business Systems Analyst supports FBI IT modernization initiatives by analyzing systems, documenting requirements, and supporting Agile development efforts across national security platforms.

This is a proposal-based position; employment is contingent upon contract award and funding availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support development and maintenance of FBI national security systems.

  • Conduct business process analysis and reengineering.

  • Gather, define, and document business and functional requirements.

  • Draft national security IT documentation including JIRA user stories and SOPs.

  • Support product backlog management and Agile planning.

  • Prepare briefings, reports, and training materials for management.

  • Provide technical support for customer applications.

Required for This Opportunity

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to take a polygraph.

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years experience in national security IT requirements or business analysis.

  • Experience with JIRA, MS Project, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint.

  • Experience supporting interagency government programs.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Agile, ITIL, PMP, or Scrum certifications

At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $90,000-$137,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location. We value transparency in our hiring process and are happy to discuss how your unique qualifications align with our compensation structure during the interview process.
