Job Summary:

As a Product Scheduler, you will work as a member of a team that determines, monitors, and adjusts production schedules to maximize our sales capacity while meeting our customer's delivery expectations.



Essential Functions:

* Determine and communicate daily schedules for assigned production departments.

* Work directly with leadership staff in assigned production department to prioritize work, maximizing production efficiencies while meeting or exceeding customer delivery expectations.

* Assist in the review and loading of new jobs into the schedule and recommend outsourcing opportunities as needed.

* Ensure that set up times and run rates in schedules are being planned for as accurately as possible to anticipate capacity concerns and forecast labor needs.

* Recommend overtime needs based on customer delivery requirements and long-term workload projections.

* Help monitor company on-time delivery measurements and aid in identifying and driving continuous improvement efforts within the scheduling department.

* Track on time delivery performance in designated departments.

* Maximize the capabilities of scheduling software.

* Review and respond to preloads and open cases in Salesforce.

* Load new jobs and communicate any anticipated concerns with lead times or completion dates.

* Adjust and communicate schedule changes.

* Provide feedback to leadership to ensure a healthy and productive team.

* Must successfully complete any training or certification courses required to support or strengthen position.

* Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.

* Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.

* Demonstrated advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows based databases.



Minimum Requirements:

* High School Diploma and four years' experience in print operations or related function.
