Start Date ASAP Contract T-38 AMP Salary Range DOE Posting Date 03/09/2026 Union No FLSA Status Exempt Shift Work No FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible Job Summary: Assist the Site Supervisor in managing the T-38 AMP contract site in a safe and appropriate manner acceptable to the Government. Coordinates all efforts to ensure 100% safe, on time, properly configured, reliable aircraft to perform missions in accordance with PWS. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Strategic Oversight Under the direction of the Site Supervisor ensure section responsibilities are executed in full compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and that all contractual requirements. Exercise proactive oversight of operations to identify potential safety risks, unsafe acts, or hazardous conditions, and implement immediate corrective actions to mitigate risk and ensure a safe, compliant working environment. Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and timely processing of required documentation, including maintenance records, forms, and ensuring compliance and audit readiness. Project & Program Management Execute and enforce SOPs and contract requirements. Communicate with the Site Manager, delivering timely updates on maintenance activities, risks, and overall program performance; attend required company and military meetings. Monitor operational performance and analyze section metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement as needed. Evaluate section performance and provide guidance to subordinate leadership to strengthen planning, execution, and overall program effectiveness. Oversee accountability and management of all vehicles and equipment assigned to the section. Business Analysis & Requirements Management Assist in development, management, and continuously optimize maintenance plans-including scheduled, unscheduled, and modification activities-to support aircraft readiness, reliability, and flight safety objectives. Analyze maintenance and reliability data (e.g., IMDS and other maintenance systems) to identify trends, predict potential failures, and refine maintenance intervals in accordance with military technical data and standards. May prepare and deliver clear, concise briefings to senior military leadership and program stakeholders on aircraft status, readiness metrics, risks, and overall program performance. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Lead maintenance efforts by conducting routine briefings, delivering status updates. Translate operational needs into actionable maintenance plans, ensuring traceability from requirements through execution and performance outcomes. Assist with ensuring aircraft availability, mission readiness, and regulatory compliance through clear, timely, and transparent communication of maintenance schedules, operational risks, and performance outcomes. Serve as the secondary liaison between technical maintenance teams, ensuring alignment of operational priorities with customer expectations and contractual requirements. Page 2 of 2 Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure strict compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), applicable Air Force instructions, and governing regulatory requirements. Proactively identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of non-compliance, implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risk and drive continuous improvement. Additional Relevant Duties, as Assigned by Management Qualifications and Experience: Education & Certifications * Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience preferred in Aviation Discipline. * Professional certifications strongly preferred (PMP, PMI-ACP, CBAP, or equivalent). * Current CA Drivers' License. Experience * Minimum 15 years aircraft maintenance experience with at least 10 years in maintenance of military jet engine fighters. * Three years' experience in dealing with an organized Labor Union, desired. Skills & Competencies * Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English * Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude * Maintain a clean and organized workplace * Able to obtain and maintain any security clearance and/or base access as required by the contract Working Conditions: * Extended hours sitting at a desk working on a computer and/or other equipment. * Must be able to stand, bend, climb, squat and sit for extended periods while performing tasks * Periodic travel to program sites or customer locations may be required. * Primarily office-based role.
