Overview

The Electric Boat Information Technology Project Management Office (EBIT PMO) is responsible for managing IT projects, programs, and portfolios across the Electric Boat enterprise. The EBIT PMO provides governance for project, program, and portfolio management processes and best practices, monitors performance of projects, programs, and portfolios, drives project delivery, and performs strategic planning to maximize business value.

As the EBIT PMO expands in size and responsibility, the organization is looking for highly motivated individuals to join the EBIT PMO Governance Team as IT PMO Analysts. In this role, the EBIT PMO Analysts will be responsible for EBIT PMO Governance including shaping the framework of standards, processes, and oversight mechanisms for the EBIT PMO.

Responsibilities of the EBIT PMO Analyst include:

    Establishing and maintaining EBIT PMO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including documentation and templates
  • Coordinating continuous process improvement
  • Supporting continuous learning for the EBIT PMO team and IT project team members
  • Oversight of PMO project procurement and inventory management
  • Conducting PMO quality assurance and compliance
  • Managing internal PMO communication
  • Financial Management for the EBIT PMO
  • PMO Reporting & Analytics (metrics, KPIs, and dashboards)


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Prior experience developing standard operating procedures

Preferred:

  • Prior experience developing EBIT Process and Procedures


Skills

  • Candidate must have skills in process and procedure governance
  • Candidate must possess and be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter with the proven ability to accomplish goals independently, with minimal oversight.
  • Candidate must be capable of working in a team environment and have proven ability to drive teams and meet deadlines.
