Position Summary

Position Summary

The HAF Division, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, is seeking a Manufacturing Specialty Technician independently set up and operate moderately complex various manufacturing equipment that requires specialized skill or expertise.

Responsibilities

*Independently set up and operate moderately complex various manufacturing equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints
* Capable of proficiency on all types of equipment and setup of equipment used in department within 60 days of hire
* Proficient in all aspects of inspection gages for the area after training period end and ability to train other employees
* Maintain a safe workplace for self and fellow team members via compliance of safety policies and procedures
* Produce product in timely manner while following all Quality system requirements
* Proficient in all aspects of paperwork for the area within 30 days.
* Ability to train team members
* Ability to lead Lean events and high-performance teams as required; ability to train team on Lean methodology
* Participate in 5S activities per Manager request
* Troubleshoot problems as they arise; Strong problem-solving skills
* Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Strong Math skills - three-digit addition and subtraction, multiple digit multiplication and division. Converting fractions to decimals. Ability to follow formulas for conversions (ex: SF to LF)
* Ability to work in a team environment, cultivate strong relationships, and demonstrate initiative.
* Ability to lead Lean events and high-performance teams as required; ability to train team members.
