Description

The Department of Computer Science (CS) at Tufts University conducts an ongoing search for qualified part-time lecturers. We invite applications from individuals who are capable and interested in teaching one or more courses either currently offered by CS or new courses that the applicant thinks CS might wish to offer. This includes local industry experts who are interested in teaching advanced evening classes in cutting-edge new areas. Women, African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino(a), Native American/Alaskan Native candidates, and those from other marginalized groups are welcome and strongly encouraged to apply.

The CS department also offers online M.S. and post-baccalaureate degrees and is looking for instructors who can deliver these courses; all applicants will be considered for these positions as well. We encourage individuals outside the Boston area to consider applying if interested in online teaching.

Tufts University is a Research I class institution that happens to be the smallest such institution, giving it unique character. With about 6,600 undergraduates, 5,400 graduate students, and a worldwide reputation for its undergraduate and graduate programs, Tufts offers a unique opportunity for academic professionals interested in combining world-class research with close connections to outstanding undergraduate, Master's, and Ph.D. students. Located just a few miles or a short T ride from Boston and Cambridge, the CS department offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science.
