Cable Technician I (LowVoltage Communications) Location: Fayetteville, GA Pay: $20-24/hour Openings: 15 Experience Level: Entry Level Why This Role? This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing Data Center team. Ideal for motivated technicians looking to build handson experience in structured cabling, fiber, and data environments. What You'll Do * Install and route lowvoltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6 and basic fiber) * Build out IDF/MDF closets, including racks, patch panels, and pathways * Terminate cables, label accurately, and follow proper color codes * Install Jhooks, cable tray, ladder rack, and cable supports * Assist with basic testing and quality control * Work safely on commercial and data center projects What We're Looking For * 0-2 years of lowvoltage or structured cabling experience * Familiar with basic hand tools and construction environments * Willing to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Nice to Have (Not Required) * Fiber experience or splicing exposure * Data center or live environment experience * Experience with Fluke/Versiv testing Basic hand tools required Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fayetteville, GA.
