Lead Data Analyst - 100% Remote (Part-Time)

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Data Analyst - Remote (Part-Time) for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Company based in Milwaukee, WI. This is a short-term (under 3 months) contract opportunity for 10 hours per week.

Pay range: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour

This is a short-term support engagement designed to provide ad hoc Tableau reporting while the team hires new talent after unexpected staff losses. The role will involve handling incoming requests from a Slack channel and working with a data stack that includes SQL Server and Tableau. The candidate must be available during Eastern or Central time zone business hours for the agreed-upon part-time schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers
• Create and be accountable for high quality, value driven work that drives business outcomes
• Create and produce forecasts, reports, and dashboards to tell a story through data
• Utilize analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts
• Deliver results, insights and recommendations (written, verbal, presentations, etc) to a business audience
• Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators and identify areas of improvement
• Apply data visualization best practices to work deliverables
• Implement best practices, methodologies, standards and processes
• Own analytics products and reporting environments end-to-end, including governance, lifecycle management, and documentation
• Provide consultation to business clients and may participate in cross-functional teams
• Identify & capture business requirements and develop KPI frameworks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or related field
• At least 4-5 years of professional experience
• At least 4 years of experience working in an analytics related field
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience doing analytics work
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in research and data analysis, application of statistical research techniques, or report/application development
• Expertise in the development and application of analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, MS Excel, SPSS, R or other tool
• Experience with visualization tooling like PowerBI or Tableau
• Ability to access, gather, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
• Ability to articulate complex knowledge and provide detailed analysis
