Job Summary:
The Sr. Plant Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across multiple dairy manufacturing plants. This role ensures safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operations while driving continuous improvement, talent development, and alignment with company objectives. Plan, organize, direct and provide leadership necessary in Safety, Warehouse, Transportation, Quality, Employee Relations, Performance, and Cost across Concord, NH & Portland, ME sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide direct leadership and oversight to multiple dairy manufacturing plants, ensuring consistent execution of production, safety, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Contribute to development of the annual budget, performance goals, and operational improvements across multiple facilities.
  • Own multi- site operating budgets, capitol planning, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with all dairy, food safety, people safety, and regulatory requirements including but not limited to FDA, FSMA, GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, Environmental and Sustainability requirements, and customer standards across multiple locations.
  • Ensure effective communication between facilities, other departments, and employees by ensuring established communication methods regarding company performance, food safety, people safety, and the promotion of an open door policy.
  • Dive productivity improvements for optimization, waste reduction and margin enhancement.
  • Partner with other departments such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and HR to ensure alignment and execution of business priorities.
  • Supervises activities of a team of direct reports.
  • Responsible for overseeing and monitoring Ethical Sourcing guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain a positive work environment including personnel policy development, training safety and housekeeping.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies associated with the industry, through trade magazines, training classes and technical manuals.
  • Other duties as assigned by the GVP of Operations


Education and Experience:



  • BS preferred
  • 7+ years-experience in a high volume Dairy Manufacturing environment required.ESL/Fluid Dairy is preferred.
  • Operations management responsibility in a 7x24 operation.
  • Budgeting and Planning experience required.
  • Must have prior experience managing other operational functions such as project, processing and packaging.
  • In depth knowledge of PMO and other regulatory guidelines required as well as the ability to interact with federal and state employees.
  • Experience with filling, packaging, transportation and customer service targets.

The pay range for this position is
$178,400 $211,600 USD
