The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading all programs and processes to ensure flexibility and customer responsiveness through parts availability for strategic reconfigurations. This Position will lead the development and implementation of Demand Planning Strategies, advanced analytics/forecasting, and will continue to build an industry-leading supply chain, standardize business practices, KPIs, implement best practices, with the objective of achieving the highest levels of responsiveness and deliver an industry-leading customer experience. In addition, this position is responsible for optimizing working capital in parallel while achieving the goals mentioned above.

What you'll do

Establish & Manage the Team

  • Develop and Lead the Distribution Demand Planning Strategy for North America
  • Hire and supervise a team of demand planners and analysts for the Distribution function
  • Ensure processes are in place to optimize inventory.
  • Actively lead and manage the different projects related to the development and consistent deployment of best practice process and system capabilities based on standard software packages (e.g., Saleforce.com, Oracle, Syncron)
  • Establish and manage to key performance measures
  • Conducting performance appraisals, keeping work history files uploaded, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to supervised Team Members
  • Create a strong team spirit in the department as well as awareness of the importance of safety, quality, cooperation, and Terex Way Values
  • Establish mid and long-range visions for future state improvements and evolution of the department
  • Anticipate the advancement of business and market conditions and strategize options for managing changes

Inventory Planning

  • Subject matter expert on Syncron and other tools used for planning.
  • Plan inventory in a multi DC network to achieve desired reconfigure service level and inventory turnover targets.
  • Developing effective stocking strategies for options and accessories and refine on regular cadence.
  • Implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
  • Multi-Level forecasting- By SKU, Product Family, Region/Customer/Channel, etc.
  • Inventory Simulation, "what-If" simulations to test service-level targets, Safety Stock and reorder point optimization by part criticality
  • Exception Management- Alerts for outliers, unusual Demand Spikes or forecast Bias-
  • Adjust inventory levels based on sales trends.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure product availability aligns with demand.
  • Execute the inventory plan based on historical trends and future Sales activities

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 - 7+ years of management experience in a global business - preferably with an industry-leading organization and in a multi-cultural environment
  • Proven record in managing inventory to improve fill rate while reducing dead inventory
  • Proven record in developing reporting and analytics to improve key KPIs and Metrics
  • Excellent coaching and training skills with an orientation towards continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership skills and with the ability to build, manage, motivate, and engage a high performing team
  • Strong presentation and discussion/influencing skills internally and with customers.
  • Advanced Knowledge of data visualization software and SQL

Salary: The compensation range for this position in Bothell, WA is $120,600.00 - $147,400.00 annually. Compensation range may vary depending on location. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to location, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
