The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (
GSAPP) at Rutgers University-New Brunswick invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor faculty position in the Clinical Psychology Department. This faculty member will oversee the practicum and externship placements network for our Clinical Psychology Psy.D. students and support students in their application to these placements and externships in clinical settings. They will also liaise with site supervisors and collaborate with the Program Director in the Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program regarding field-based experiences and opportunities. Teaching responsibilities include supervision courses and other courses depending on the candidate's expertise and departmental needs and opportunities for direct training and supervision. Competitive candidates will demonstrate related graduate-level teaching and professional practice experience, excellence in teaching, and specialized knowledge in clinical psychology. In addition, they should be knowledgeable about certification and licensure requirements. Applicants will also show the capacity to contribute to the mission and goals of
GSAPP and the professional community.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
A doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Also preferable is at least two years of experience in a supervisory role. |
| Certifications/Licenses |
It is required that the applicant is licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in New Jersey. |
| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
Strong commitment to and experience in professional training in applied and professional psychology. Prior experience supervising the clinical training of students at the doctoral level. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to maintain and expand a network of practicum and externship placements. |
