Accounts Payable Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst - Hybrid position with an Energy Company located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role joins a dynamic accounts payable team within a fast-paced environment where new processes are frequently developed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical and common-sense mindset, using intuition rather than just following processes. This position requires excellent stakeholder communication skills and the ability to thrive in a high-volume corporate setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform 3-way matching for accounts payable
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls
• Adapt to and help establish new processes in a developing environment
• Work in a very fast-paced, high-volume setting

Requirements:

• Must have an analytical and common-sense mindset
• Proven intuition and problem-solving skills beyond simple process execution
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills
• Experience with SOX controls
• Strong proficiency with Excel
• Previous experience in a corporate, high-volume environment (non-banking preferred)

Desired skills:

• Experience with NetSuite
• Experience with Basware
• An outgoing and collaborative personality

Pay range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
