POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Management Intern will support the End User Support & Productivity (EUSP) organization by assisting with data analysis, financial tracking, executive reporting, and communications across multiple initiatives. This role is designed for a highly motivated, detail-oriented intern who is eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, cross-functional IT environment.

The intern will work closely with program and leadership stakeholders to help consolidate information, build dashboards and reports, and support executive-ready presentations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Program & Financial Support

  • Assist with financial tracking and analysis related to EUSP initiatives, including Device as a Service (DaaS) financials.

  • Consolidate and maintain Excel-based financial data, including inventory, cost, and chargeback comparisons leveraging direct contact with 3rd party vendors and internal systems.

  • Support informed decision-making by organizing and summarizing financial data for leadership review.

Dashboards & Reporting

  • Help build and maintain dashboards, primarily through Excel-based analysis and data transformation.

  • Export raw data from existing systems, analyze trends, and recommend effective visual representations.

  • Partner with full-time team members to translate analysis into dashboard visualizations, with training provided as needed.

Executive Presentations, Communications and Engagement with Internal and External Stakeholders

  • Support the creation of executive-level decks, summaries, and recurring reports.

  • Assist with preparing bi-weekly or monthly reporting materials for leadership presentations.

  • Help consolidate updates across multiple initiatives into clear, concise presentation formats.

  • Assist with newsletters, Viva Engage posts, and internal communications targeted at end users and stakeholders.

  • Support messaging efforts that improve clarity, engagement, and adoption of EUSP initiatives.

General Program Support

  • Help track action items, timelines, and deliverables across EUSP projects.

  • Coordinate with team members to gather inputs and ensure alignment across initiatives.

  • Provide general administrative and analytical support to help offload work from senior team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Sophomore or Junior preferred).

  • Strong Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other M365 services skills.

  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and data analysis.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive ("self-starter" mindset).

  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego at least 3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background or coursework in Economics, Business, Data Analysis, Computer Science or a related field.

  • Experience creating presentations or summaries for executive or leadership audiences.

  • Familiarity with data visualization concepts (tool-agnostic; training provided).

  • Interest in IT, infrastructure, or corporate technology environments.

The target hourly rate for this internship is $21.00 per hour. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
