HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist

WVCI is seeking an experienced, proactive HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist to support a fastpaced healthcare organization with more than 350 employees. This role is responsible for fullcycle recruiting across clinical and nonclinical roles while also supporting core HR operations, compliance, onboarding, and employee support.

The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a highly regulated clinical environment. This position also supports the US Oncology Compliance Program, including adherence to the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

The general pay scale for this position at WVCI is $65,000-$75,000. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (Approximately 70%)

  • Lead fullcycle recruitment for clinical and nonclinical positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to define job requirements, expectations, and timelines.
  • Manage job postings, candidate pipelines, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Conduct candidate screenings, coordinate interviews, compile interview feedback, and support offer negotiations.
  • Ensure screening notes, reference checks, and recruitment documentation are complete, accurate, and compliant.
  • Support prehire and onboarding activities, including orientation preparation.
  • Maintain recruitment presence on social media platforms.
  • Build relationships with schools, community partners, and attend career fairs as needed.
  • Monitor recruiting activity and support continuous improvement of recruitment processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

HR Support & Operations (Approximately 30%)

  • Provide daytoday support for employee and leader HR inquiries.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Maintain personnel files and HRIS records to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Serve as a point of contact for policyrelated questions and HR process guidance.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives focused on operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Generate HR reports and support audits as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • May be required to travel to multiple worksites as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of fullcycle recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting highvolume or multirole hiring.
  • Strong working knowledge of recruiting practices, employment laws, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and followthrough.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
