Human Resources Operations Advisor (HROA)

The Human ResourcesOperations Advisor (HROA) is a problemsolver and trusted partner who thrives in a fastpaced healthcare environment and serves as the primary point of contact for operational HR matters.You'll help navigate complex HR operations while supporting the leaders and teams who make patient care possible. You'll work closely with HR colleagues, clinical leaders, and other stakeholders to support operational work related to job descriptions, leave of absence programs, immigration, compliance, HR policies, and HR technology.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into complex issues, evaluating multiple perspectives, and applying sound judgment to deliver practical, compliant solutions. The HROA plays a critical role in ensuring HR programs align with healthcarespecific regulatory requirements while continuously improving processes that support a stable, engaged workforce.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with HR, clinical, and operational leaders to support complex HR initiatives and daytoday operational needs.
  • Interpret and apply employment laws, policies, and regulatory requirements to realworld scenarios in a healthcare setting.
  • Analyze issues, identify risks, and recommend thoughtful, compliant solutions that balance organizational needs with employee experience.
  • Contribute to crossfunctional projects that strengthen workforce stability, regulatory readiness, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Leverage HR systems and technology to improve accuracy, efficiency, and decisionmaking.

  • Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, connect the dots, and make informed recommendations.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and managing competing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Solid understanding of HR operations, employment laws, and compliance-experience in healthcare is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with leaders at all levels.
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for improving systems, processes, and outcomes.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)


  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  2. License/Certifications: SHRM-CP or SCP preferred.
  3. Experience: Four years of Human Resources experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent critical thinking, analytical and consultative skills along with the ability to diagnose problems and develop practical solutions.
