Job Description:The Senior Manager, Applied AI Solutions and Enablement is a hands-on builder and applied AI delivery leadresponsible foridentifyingAI and automation-readyworkflows, rapidly developing internalAI-poweredtools and agents, and shepherding delivery ofhigh-impactsolutions through a small pod of applied AI analysts.Beyond managing the pod of analysts, acore responsibilityofthis role is driving internal transformation by rolling out AI tools, training teams, and embedding new GenAIfirst ways of working.Success in this role is defined by the quality, relevance, and adoption of the solutions delivered, as well as by the ability to guide technical builders and ensure teams effectively use the AI tools and workflows produced. This role combines deep technical fluency with strong coaching instincts,operatingas the go-to resource for applied AI within embeddedteamin North America.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifyand replace manual or inefficient workflowsby designing and building internal AI-powered tools, agents, and automations that integrate with Visa's systems and ways of working.

• Ownand guideapplied AI pod inthe upfront scoping and structuringof GenAIenabled tools and processes, working with embedded teams to define problem statements, success metrics, and solution approaches before guiding delivery through the applied AI pod.

• Serve as the embedded applied AI expertfor the assigned team, acting as the primary builder, advisor, and problem-solver for AI-enabled workflow transformation.

• Enable and scale adoption of delivered AI solutionsthrough targeted pairing,hands-onsupport, and clear "how-to" guides that allow teams to effectively use, adapt, and extend the tools and workflows produced.

• Templatize and document AI solutionsto ensure reuse, consistency, and scalability across use cases and team members.

• Lead training, onboarding, and ongoing enablementwithinanalyst(s)assigned teams to ensure tools are adopted, trusted, and integrated into daily workflows.

• Drive measurable adoption and capability lift, tracking success through usage, reuse of tools/templates, and the number of new internal builders enabled.

• Provide handson technical guidance and direction to a small pod of applied AI analysts, setting priorities, reviewing approaches, and shepherding work from concept through delivery to ensure highquality, reusable AI solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Demonstrated hands-on experience building AI-powered tools, agents, or automations, with fluency in coding and modern AI development workflows.
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise AI platforms, foundation models, and agent orchestration frameworks, including Microsoft AI solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio), leading model ecosystems (e.g., Claude, Grok, OpenAI, Gemini), and agentic tooling/platforms (e.g., ClaudeCowork,OpenClaw).
• Working fluency in commonly used programming and scripting languages for AIdriven tooling and automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL), with comfort guiding, reviewing, and iterating on AIgenerated code.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into practical, AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity and execution.
• Experience or aptitude for coaching and guiding technical builders (e.g., applied AI analysts) through solution design, code review, and delivery, with a clear orientation toward reusable, high-quality outcomes.
• Digitally native mindset with curiosity, speed, and comfortoperatingin evolving AI toolsets and environments.
• Ability to work autonomously within an embedded team, building trust with stakeholders and balancing rapid delivery with scalable design.
• Strong communicationskills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 169,100.00 to 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
