We are now looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager, CAPEX to support and lead sourcing activities for capital investment projects that are critical to our operational growth.

The Role & Your Impact

As Senior Sourcing Manager, CAPEX, you will play a key role in enabling Novonesis' major capital investment projects through strategic and operational sourcing. You will lead end-to-end sourcing activities and act as a trusted partner to Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Project Management teams.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing sourcing strategies and procurement plans for CAPEX projects

  • Leading supplier selection processes, including RFI/RFQ preparation, tendering, and bid evaluation

  • Negotiating high-value contracts, including pricing, terms and conditions, warranties, delivery schedules, and risk-sharing

  • Preparing contracts for signature and supporting Project Managers with change orders and claims handling

  • Establishing long-term frame agreements with selected suppliers

  • Identifying cost-reduction opportunities and optimizing total cost of ownership

  • Assessing and mitigating supplier and sourcing-related risks

  • Acting as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers

  • Leveraging e-procurement tools to streamline sourcing and evaluation processes

  • Incorporating sustainability considerations into sourcing decisions

This role has regional and global impact and is central to the success of Novonesis' investment projects.

What You'll Need to Be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 8 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within CAPEX or project-based environments

  • Strong understanding of legal and commercial contract terms

  • Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional procurement initiatives on time and within budget

  • Strong negotiation skills with experience managing high-value contracts

  • Solid financial, analytical, and business acumen

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Experience working in a regional or international organization

Additional Skills & Interests We Value
  • Experience with procurement systems such as SAP; ScanMarket is preferred

  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, including category management, strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and e-procurement tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Source-to-Pay tools

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive change

  • High level of self-motivation and adaptability in a dynamic environment

Ways of Working / Working Conditions
  • Location: West Allis, WI - Franklinton, NC - Blair, NE (Hybrid)

  • Travel: 20%

Compensation & Benefits
  • Expected salary range: $120,000 - $140,000

  • 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution

  • Minimum of 3 weeks of vacation plus 12 holidays and 2 weeks of Wellness Time
