Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Community Medicine, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider at the rank of Instructor for a 1.0 FTE benefited position with its CU Medicine OBGYN East Denver practice. This is an ambulatory position that will provide gynecology-specific care. This position includes primarily clinical duties but may have some responsibilities for teaching medical students and residents in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide in-person and telehealth care in the outpatient setting.

* Perform gynecologic exams with identification of gynecologic conditions

* Birth control counseling and prescription management

* Attend monthly practice meetings

* Participate in practice development, promotion, and community outreach.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Denver, Co.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

* Current Colorado RN, APN and RxN licensures in good standing

* Meets and maintains the requirements of the Nursing Credential Review Board for the Advanced Practice Nurse

Preferred Qualifications:

* 3 years of clinical experience in a WHNP Setting

* Prior ultrasound experience - TVUS

* LARC experience

Conditions of Employment:

* Must be willing and able to provide full-scope contraceptive services.

* Must be willing and able to complete CAQH and all credentialing requirements before the date of hire.

* Must be willing and able to obtain current BLS/CPR certification by date of hire.

* Must be willing and able to participate in health plan contracts actively.

* Must be willing and able to remain credentialed by the health plans and ensure credentialing materials stay current.

* Must be willing and able to work in a normal patient care environment with some exposure to biological hazards and infectious diseases.

* Must be willing and able to obtain a current DEA license within 18 months of hire.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Exceptional independent judgment to monitor and respond to changes in a client's condition

* Interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and other members of the health care team

* Skilled in the use of electronic medical records

* Excellent knowledge of and ability to perform clinical teaching

* Ability to effectively develop and promote practice

* Strong collaborative nature

* Willingness and ability to actively participate in health plan contracts

* Ability to remain credentialed by the health plans and ensure credentialing materials stay current

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$112,000.00 to $118,761.00

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
