This position's primary function is the local support of the AWCS (automated warehouse control system) for warehouse operations, including hardware and network support. The Systems Analyst reports to the CI Manager. The Systems Analyst is required to regularly work and communicate with employees at all levels as well as external vendors and other professionals on system-related issues.

  • Help Develop and Maintain SOP documentation for all DSC processes
  • Master Data Management as pertains to the AWCS Warehouse Management
  • System (correct item set up, location management, etc.)
  • Manage user access to all functionality within the AWCS application to ensure users are equipped with the appropriate system tools to successfully execute their job tasks
  • Implementation of AWCS enhancements
  • End user reporting - provide expertise to develop various reports and inquiries as needed.
  • Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed.
  • Site CIP functions
  • Daily Ops reporting
  • Develop and support of Apex Reports / Dashboard and AWCS Mechanic Reports
  • Assist in systematic troubleshooting in all areas of DSC operations where deficiencies or anomalies arise
  • Participate in process improvement projects; Assist with the identification and implementation of solutions that provide enhanced functionality and value
  • Act as a liaison between the Romeoville DSC and the AWCS support teams; first line of defense prior to escalating issues to support groups
  • Manage user access to all SW applications to ensure users are equipped with the appropriate system tools to successfully execute their job tasks
  • Support Process Improvement Manager as needed
  • Provide reports utilizing data captured within the warehouse management system to aid in providing transparency to the operation in support of process improvement initiatives
  • AWCS Mechanic Reports
  • Provide reports for management as needed
  • Ensure that the sites IT and other electronic devices are running properly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

  • Must have two (2) years of Information Technology or Computer Science experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have at least a Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or Technology fields
