Product Manager - Payment Solutions Top Skills & Experience * 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within payments, digital commerce, or fintech * Direct experience with payments ecosystems including payment processors, gateways, digital wallets, gift cards, and transactional platforms * Hands-on experience translating requirements into epics and user stories, leading agile ceremonies, and managing delivery using Jira * Experience working with external vendors or technology partners, managing execution across organizational boundaries Role Overview The Product Manager - Payment Solutions is responsible for the delivery, stabilization, and orchestration of enterprise-scale payment initiatives across in-store, mobile app, and web channels. This role is highly execution-focused and delivery-driven, supporting how customers pay across physical and digital experiences. The position sits at the core of the commerce technology stack, owning card payments, digital wallets, stored value (gift cards), and vendor-integrated payment flows operating at enterprise scale. You will be accountable for payment initiatives end-to-end-from defining requirements and coordinating delivery with engineering teams and external partners, to optimizing performance across high-volume, distributed environments. This role is ideal for a payments product manager who thrives on transaction reliability, partner orchestration, and measurable business impact. The role exists to reduce execution risk during periods of high concurrency involving payment reliability improvements, partner initiatives, and migration efforts. Core Skills * Product Management * Agile / Scrum * Jira * Digital Commerce * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Responsibilities Payment Delivery & Program Execution * Own execution of assigned payment initiatives across in-store, mobile, and web experiences * Translate business, treasury, and technology operations needs into clear, actionable product requirements, ensuring technical feasibility, accessibility, analytics coverage, and operational readiness * Manage delivery across the full product lifecycle-from discovery through launch and post-launch stabilization * Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and risks across multiple concurrent payment workstreams Vendor & Partner Orchestration * Serve as the primary product interface for payment vendors and partners, including processors, gateways, digital wallet providers, and POS vendors * Drive clarity around scope, sequencing, and delivery expectations with external partners * Support standardization of enablement, change management, and escalation processes across vendors * Ensure partner work aligns with internal priorities, governance, and operational readiness standards Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner closely with Design, Engineering, Technology Operations, Security, Treasury, Finance, Legal, Brand, and Digital Product teams * Support Tech Ops by providing clear product direction, prioritization, and context for payment-related changes * Participate in cross-functional working sessions to align on trade-offs, sequencing, and delivery constraints Operational Readiness & Optimization * Ensure payment solutions are delivered with clear acceptance criteria, monitoring, and rollback considerations * Track and communicate delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans * Support improvements in payment reliability, consistency, and operational clarity * Use data to assess prioritization, adoption, performance, and revenue or cost impact Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Sandy Springs, GA.
