Audio-Visual (AV) Design Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Audio-Visual (AV) Design Engineer for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Company located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a contract opportunity.

Pay Rate: $47.00 - $50.00 per hour depending on experience and skill level.

As part of the Digital Workplace team, this role will play a crucial part in planning, designing, and implementing AV solutions. The AV Design Engineer will work closely with clients and installation teams, translating client requirements into innovative and technically sound AV designs to create a work environment with motivating digital capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders
• Conduct needs assessments
• Design comprehensive AV solutions
• Create detailed documentation
• Create code, modules, touch panel designs, and layouts for AV system programming projects
• Work with cross-functional teams
• Conduct testing and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot technical issues
• Present and explain designs to clients, incorporating feedback, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations

Requirements:

• 5-10+ years of demonstrated expertise in AV system design, engineering, and programming
• Knowledge of AV technologies, signal flow, and networking across multiple campuses
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical individuals
• Programming experience with Lua and Advanced CSS using variable, Python, and HTML
• Advanced skills in AV Design and AV Programming
