Senior Director, Direct Procurement

The Role: The Senior Director, Direct Procurement will provide strategic leadership for Entegris' global direct procurement organization, setting a clear longterm vision that supports rapid growth, operational excellence, and competitive advantage. This role is responsible for defining and executing category strategies that scale with the business, enable innovation, and ensure supply continuity in a dynamic, fastpaced environment. The successful candidate will be a forwardlooking leader who can balance strategic planning with handson execution and drive results in a highgrowth, continuously evolving organization. This role will be responsible for supporting over $800M+ in spend covering the categories of chemicals, mechanical fabrication, resin, plastic fabrication, polymers, packaging, and contract manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Vision & Leadership
- Define and communicate a compelling longterm vision for Direct Procurement that aligns with Entegris' growth strategy, operational priorities, and technology roadmap.
- Translate enterprise strategy into clear procurement objectives, priorities, and execution plans that scale globally.
- Anticipate future supply chain, sourcing, and market trends, proactively positioning the organization to mitigate risk and capture opportunity.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership, influencing decisions through datadriven insights and a strong external market perspective.
Operating in a FastPaced Growth Environment
- Lead the category management team in a highgrowth, fastchanging business, adapting strategies and execution as priorities evolve.
- Drive speed, agility, and accountability while maintaining disciplined processes and governance.
- Make timely, wellreasoned decisions, balancing risk, cost, quality, and continuity.
- Scale systems, processes, and organizational capabilities to support business growth, new products, and geographic expansion.
Execution & Results
- Own global sourcing and supplier strategies for direct materials, ensuring cost competitiveness, quality, and supply assurance.
- Partner crossfunctionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and R&D to enable product launches and capacity expansion.
- Establish clear performance metrics and rigorously track results, driving continuous improvement across cost, service, and resilience.
- Develop and lead a highperforming global team, setting clear expectations, coaching future leaders, and fostering a culture of ownership and execution.

- Comfortable leading through change, ambiguity, and growth while maintaining focus on outcomes.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
What we seek:
- Bachelor's degree at a minimum, with an advanced technical and/or business degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience leading a world class organization delivering value added capabilities and accelerated results.
- Demonstrated track record of developing and leading teams.
- Direct knowledge of the raw materials categories, with technical expertise to enable new solutions.
- Outstanding collaboration skills, including managing across functions and companies with the objective of achieving optimal results.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage suppliers' senior management, build relationships and drive suppliers to improve their performance.
- Strategic negotiation skills leading to continued cost reductions which support product margins.
- Experience in supplier assessment, ranking, supply chain health, sustainability and risk mitigation.
