About the Job

Position Description:
The job responsibilities for this position will be to assist in research in wastewater treatment and microalgae cultivations for bioproducts with application potentials in food, feed, and other. This will consist of experimental setup, data acquisition, data management, data analysis, and lab maintenance.

This is a "Non-Exempt Casual (max. 14 hours per week) appointment."

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA plus at least 2 years of related experience
  • Experience working in a lab in a university setting
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Bioproducts & Biosystems Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience assisting with new project development including literature reviews.
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $30 a hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
