Senior Infor CloudSuite Distribution Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Progress Programmer to join our team in support of an active CloudSuite Distribution engagement. In this role, you will be embedded with a client team to drive the technical migration of existing Infor SX.e customizations into the CloudSuite Distribution environment.

Working under the direction of the client project manager and technical lead, you will own the full lifecycle of customization migration - from analyzing legacy code and redesigning solutions to hands-on development, testing, and knowledge transfer. This is a deeply technical, hands-on role for someone who knows Infor SX.e inside and out and is ready to bring that expertise into a cloud-based architecture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze existing Infor SX.e customizations and enhancements to determine functional purpose, technical dependencies, and compatibility with the CloudSuite Distribution platform

• Redesign and re-engineer custom functionality to align with CloudSuite Distribution architecture, cloud-based development practices, and Infor best practices

• Develop and modify solutions using Progress OpenEdge / ABL, building clean, maintainable code that operates within CSD constraints

• Evaluate legacy SX.e code and make informed decisions on whether components should be refactored, redesigned, or retired in favor of native CloudSuite capabilities

• Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, supportable technical solutions

• Actively participate across the full migration lifecycle - design, development, testing, and implementation phases

• Perform unit testing and support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solution integrity and functionality

• Ensure all deliverables comply with Infor CloudSuite Distribution standards and architectural guidelines

• Produce clear technical design documentation and provide knowledge transfer to client team members to ensure long-term maintainability

• Contribute to bi-weekly development estimation and planning sessions and deliver assigned user stories on schedule

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Hands-on Progress OpenEdge / ABL development experience

• Demonstrated experience building, customizing, or supporting Infor SX.e (SxEnterprise) - including customizations, enhancements, and integrations

• Strong understanding of ERP architecture and the technical lifecycle of customizations within an ERP environment

• Ability to read, analyze, and evaluate legacy source code and make strategic decisions on refactoring vs. retirement

• Experience participating across the full development lifecycle: requirements through testing and deployment

• US-based with ability to work standard business hours in a fully remote environment
