Transactional Knowledge Management Analyst

The Knowledge Management Analyst will support the Chief Knowledge Management Officer in implementing and maintaining knowledge management solutions for our transactional practice areas. This person will work cross-functionally with attorneys, the Library & Research Services team, and the Information Technology department.

Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with litigation attorneys to develop a deep understanding of practice needs, identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency, and manage the full lifecycle of initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Partner with legal practitioners to identify high-impact AI use cases and integrate AI solutions into existing workflows to support continuous improvement and operational optimization.
  • Lead small-group training and discovery sessions focused on business processes and legal technology, driving adoption and maximizing the value of software investments.
  • Support the firm-wide strategic implementation of iManage.
  • Identify, scope, and execute special projects within firmapproved platforms, balancing projectbased initiatives alongside day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Design and deliver onboarding and training programs for new attorneys and business professionals on departmentspecific tools, systems, and procedures.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of internal forms and experience management initiatives, partnering closely with attorney subject matter experts.
  • Manage intranet content for the litigation practice areas. Assist with the management of intranet content for our legal departments and their practice groups.

Essential Competencies:

  • Works proactively with others to coordinate activities within a department or function of the Firm.
  • Organizes and prioritizes assignments and serves as a department liaison to ensure collaborative efforts result in meeting or exceeding goals and standards.
  • Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments affecting the area of specialization.
  • Encourages innovative thinking and the exercise of sound judgment to achieve results.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of law firm experience, preferably in a corporate paralegal or knowledge management role, with demonstrated experience in data and information analysis and process documentation.
  • Exceptionally organized and able to manage competing demands in a fastpaced environment, adjusting to evolving priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and support knowledge management initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and ongoing optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to engage effectively across varied audiences.
  • Maintains active lines of communication within and between departments to share knowledge and support collaborative efforts.
  • Strong business acumen, leadership qualities, and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI developments affecting litigation practice areas.
  • Preferred software proficiencies: Microsoft Office, Co-Pilot, Anthropic, DeepJudge, SharePoint, AI-assisted Diligence platforms (Luminance), client collaboration sites (HighQ), document automation products (Litera Create), and law firm document management systems (iManage).

Work Authorization:

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range for this specific position at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to qualifications and experience, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
