General Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical crews on multifamily residential construction projects in the Longmont, Colorado area. This role is responsible for supervising electricians and apprentices, coordinating daily job site activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC), and maintaining productivity and quality on the job site. The ideal candidate is a hands-on electrical leader with strong field experience who can effectively lead crews, manage daily operations, and keep multifamily projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead electricians and apprentices on multifamily construction projects Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and project specifications Plan and assign daily work including conduit runs, wiring, panel installations, and terminations Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety regulations and National Electrical Code (NEC) Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce company safety policies Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment required for each phase of construction Perform quality checks to ensure installations meet company and project standards Maintain daily job logs and track crew hours and project progress Communicate project updates and field issues with the Project Manager or Superintendent Identify and resolve job site challenges to keep projects on schedule Min USD $1,600.00/Wk. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 2-4 Specific Qualifications Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician License required Minimum 5 years of electrical construction experience 2+ years of multifamily residential construction experience preferred Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications Proven leadership and team management abilities Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable using tablets, apps, and project management tools bility to communicate effectively in English with crew members, supervisors, and project teams, including understanding job site instructions, safety information, and written documentation Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Must be able to pass a background screening and drug screening Pay & Benefits Weekly Salary: $1,600 - $1,800 Truck Allowance Fuel Card Cell Phone Allowance Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in confined spaces Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Work Environment Work performed on active multifamily construction sites Exposure to construction equipment, noise, dust, and job site hazards May require overtime or occasional weekend work depending on project schedules License Required Yes Job Locations US-CO-Longmont Company Overview IES Residential, Inc. is one of the nation's largest and most respected electrical, plumbing, HVAC, solar, and cable solutions providers for single-family homes and multi-family complexes since 1973.
