Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) - Vascular Surgery

Inova Vascular Surgery is looking for a dedicated Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

• Provides oversight of daily clinical operations, workflow, productivity and training to Outpatient clinical team members and updates management regarding any issues in the outpatient setting

• Collaborates with healthcare team members, patients and families to maximize patient outcomes and to ensure patients are processed proficiently and expediently

• Serves as resource to team members and to provide training to improve team member competency and enhance level of service

• Delegates patient care activities appropriately to other healthcare team members and participates in making and revising staff assignments

• Advocates actively for patients' rights and identifies potential conflicts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.

• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.

• Experience: 3 years of registered nurse clinical experience.

• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
