Genesis10 is currently seeking a Governance and Business Process Analyst for a contract position (set through 10/30/2026) located in McLean, VA. This is a fully on-site role with our client, a major financial services firm. Pay range: $50.00 - $62.00 per hour.
Responsibilities will involve:
- Backlog reduction and intake processing
- Documentation followups and remediation tracking
- Issue IC2630 cleanup (expired exceptions, NFR waivers)
- Confidential repository scrubbing and standardization (CIDER readiness)
- Support parallel processing:
- Manual exception processing continues outside the SNOW automation pilot scope
- Piloteligible requests are processed through SNOW automation
- Ensures no disruption to BAU throughput, no pause in approvals, and controlled validation of automation outcomes
Expected Outcomes:
- Reduction of 45request backlog
- Improved adherence to 14-28 day SLA
- Lower compliance and operational risk from expired/undocumented exceptions
- Safe execution of SNOW automation pilot without interrupting BAU delivery
- Protection of SNOW/CIDER and Issue 2630 delivery timelines
Requirements:
- The skills needed should reflect the analytical judgment required to manage a highvolume exception and deviation environment while minimizing compliance and operational risk.
- This includes assessing intake volume, backlog size, and processing trends to prioritize work that most effectively reduces SLA exposure; evaluating exception quality to quickly identify missing or deficient information; and applying riskbased prioritization to sequence work based on expiration risk, regulatory exposure, and downstream impact.
- Strong data hygiene and validation skills ensure exception records are accurate, standardized, and ready for audit or migration, supporting both daytoday operations and longerterm process improvements.
- Equally critical are delivery, time, and communication skills that enable consistent execution under pressure.
- This includes managing multiple parallel workstreams-such as BAU processing, backlog cleanup, and automation pilots-while tracking dependencies and removing blockers.
- Effective workload and capacity management supports sustained throughput without sacrificing quality, balancing urgent expiring items with steadystate intake.
- Clear followup communication and concise status reporting safeguard requesters, partners, and leadership remain aligned on progress, risks, and priorities, allowing governance and approvals to continue without disruption.
