Position Summary

The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role as the link between cross-functional teams (including business stakeholders, IT staff, project managers, developers, solution architects, and UX designers) to troubleshoot problems and develop solutions. This role is responsible for identifying and documenting functional requirements, conducting workflow and process analysis, and performing gap analysis.

This position requires hands-on experience with Manhattan SCALE (Warehouse Management System), including configuration, support, and optimization of warehouse and distribution processes.

The analyst evaluates existing application products, develops recommendations, writes interface specifications, and coordinates system implementations.

This is a hybrid role requiring 8 days per month onsite.
Salary: $125,000 - $140,000

To excel in this position, you should be an experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of business processes, business systems analysis techniques, and warehouse management systems. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify and communicate with key stakeholders
  • Gather, review, and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports, and operational metrics
  • Liaise between various business departments and technical teams
  • Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling
  • Maintain documentation for projects, processes, and operations
  • Conduct technical workflow analysis, process diagrams, and gap analysis
  • Evaluate existing application products and develop recommendations
  • Evaluate opportunities for operational efficiencies
  • Document and refine system modifications
  • Coordinate installation and first use of new applications
  • Resolve application-related issues and escalate as needed
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams
  • Support and optimize Manhattan SCALE WMS, including configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements
  • Analyze warehouse and distribution workflows within Manhattan SCALE to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate a high degree of creativity and problem-solving
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst (or equivalent) experience
  • Hands-on experience with Manhattan SCALE (WMS), including configuration, support, and process optimization
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management, distribution, and supply chain processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements, and operational decisions
  • Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions
  • Experience testing and mapping business processes and protocols
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
