Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team and support Egan's Abercrombie Solar Project located near Fargo, ND. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of materials, deliveries, and on-site logistics to support efficient construction operations. You will work closely with project teams, vendors, and field crews to ensure materials are delivered safely, on time, and in alignment with project schedules. This is a project-based position with an expected duration of two years.


Responsibilities

The basic responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:



  • Site specific material & delivery coordination

    • Plan, schedule, and oversee inbound/outbound material deliveries


  • Inventory management

    • Maintain accurate, real-time inventory of site materials (modules, racking, inverters, cabling, etc.), including cycle counts and reconciliation.


  • Delivery Tracking & Scheduling

    • Track shipments from vendors to site, proactively manage delays, and adjust schedules to avoid disruptions to field operations.


  • Jobsite Trucking & Traffic Coordination

    • Direct trucking logistics, including designated haul routes and precise drop locations to optimize efficiency.


  • Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain delivery logs, inventory reports, and daily logistics reports; ensure documentation accuracy.


  • Compliance

    • Ensure all logistics comply with site safety standards.


  • QA/QC

    • Coordinate inspections of incoming materials for damage, quantity verification, and spec compliance; manage discrepancies with vendors.




Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and field experience preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.


Qualifications

  • Understanding of construction logistics, preferably within solar, electrical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with materials used in solar installations (modules, racking systems, inverters, cabling, etc.)
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and material tracking processes.
  • Basic understanding of DOT regulations, trucking logistics, and site delivery coordination.
  • Awareness of jobsite safety standards (OSHA) and compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of construction scheduling and how logistics impacts project schedules.


Working Conditions

  • Performance of duties will be 100% on the solar project site.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Exposure to loud noise, dirt, and exposure to the elements.
  • Climbing ladders/stairs, uneven ground, bending, kneeling, and twisting are to be expected on jobsites.

Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00 per hour (subject to such factors as experience, education, and/or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
