Sigma Defense is seeking a highly skilled and mission-focused Cybersecurity Engineer III to support the NIWCPAC ZOE contract. The hired candidate will support the Cybersecurity Enterprise Services in an Azure cloud environment for US Navy ships. The ability to work within the Azure cloud environment is key for the success of this role, but alternatively may include work within AWS, Google cloud, or Oracle.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Security + and CISSP Certifications required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field of study.

Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

  • Provide Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) and Cybersecurity/Risk Management Framework (RMF) support.
  • Assist with creating a roadmap to Authorization.
  • Provide support with compliance documentation for Information Assurance (IA) evaluations and Authority to Operate requirements.
  • Install and maintain cybersecurity system upgrades and support implementation services including Host-Based Security Systems (HBSS), Endpoint Security Solution (ESS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM).

Salary Range: $125,000 - $155,000 annually.
