We are looking for an experienced scheduler to join our Alternative Delivery team. Our Alternative Delivery team oversees Griffith Company's successful bid and execution of alternative delivery projects such as Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) and Progressive Design Build.This position is responsible for the development and maintenance construction project schedules on Alternative Delivery.

Essential Functions

  • Developschedules for Alternative Delivery projects, large projects for highways, roads, transportation and public works construction.
  • Must be able to create schedules for complex work with limited information.
  • Create detailed schedules for proposals; maintain, review and update schedules for projects.
  • Works closely with Project Executives, Proposal Managers, Estimators, Project Managers, Superintendents, and various other staff.
  • Travel to various construction sites, client meetings, and JV Partner offices within California (company vehicle will be provided)
  • Update Proposal teams, District Manager on schedules and reports of construction projects
  • Often works with project based scheduling teams and scheduling consultants.
  • Provide impact analysis of schedule changes, identify schedule variances, opportunities and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Must be able to resource load and cost load schedules.

Education

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree would be preferred, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years experience
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience on Alternative Delivery projects such as Design Build, CMGC and CMAR
    • Minimum of 5 years of scheduling experience
  • Must have experience in highways, roads, transportation and public works construction industry.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills And Ability

  • Proficient with Primavera Software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Other requirements may apply

  • Regularly required to sit.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk at jobsites.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds.

Annual Salary Range: $125,000 - $180,000.

Open to limited (2-3 days every 2 weeks) remote work for persons not located near our Brea offices.

Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates outside of the local area on a case-by-case basis.
