What will you do at Ciena?

Learn:

  • SD-WANandMulti-Cloudsecureconnections
  • Cloud-based firewalls, IDS & IPS
  • Enterprise Network
  • Enterprise Wi-Fi & BLE
  • Remote Access

Implement:

  • Products-Ciena,VeloCloud, Zscaler,Aruba,Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5
  • Cloud -Azure, AWS, OCIInterconnections, Firewalls&Web Application Firewalls

Operational Support:

  • Participate 24x7 scheduled On-call rotation
  • Handle trouble ticketescalations from Service Desk, otherIT teamsor Business Units
  • Drive escalations to resolution with technologies vendors
  • Own RootCauseAnalysisand Long-Term Fix

Automation:

  • Orchestration & Configuration Management - Terraform&Ansible

Documentation:

  • Generate& maintain viaAgora, SharePoint OnlineandJIRA

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • B.S. degree computer science, related degree or relevant experience
  • 5 -8years concentrated experience inthe area ofIT Network Infrastructure
  • Require active working experience with network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, or firewalls solutions
  • Strong knowledge of firewall management - Palo Alto or FortiGate
  • Experienced in network troubleshooting tools (Protocol Analysis hardware/software & packet sniffer)
  • Firewall,Wireless technology certificationsdesired, but not required
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS or OCI is a plus

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
