We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant in our downtown Milwaukee Headquarters office. As a Senior Accountant, you will support the operational aspects of the Finance Department.

Enjoy Job Responsibilities that may include:



  • Assist in the month, quarter, and year-end processes, including interaction with auditors during year-end procedures.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to provide monthly accounting reporting for revenue recognition and billings.
  • Support and back up Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions. This role does not include staff supervision at this time, but will be responsible for thorough understanding of these cycles and teamwork with others.
  • Act as a supporting team member for multiple audits (retirement plans, overhead, workers' compensation).
  • Assist with various compliance projects (state registrations, census reporting).
  • Timely and professional communication with clients, vendors, and business contacts.
  • Assist in the financial reporting of other business ventures (i.e. Graef Foundation).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new software and digital tools, including implementing initiatives to leverage AI to increase firm efficiency.
  • Complete special projects as requested by the CFO and Controller.


We are considering candidates for our Senior Accountant position, who meet the following basic qualifications:



  • A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred, or equivalent work experience, is required as well as a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior Accounting experience in a Service Industry preferred, but not required. Architectural or Engineering industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience with an integrated accounting software package; Deltek Vantagepoint experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
