ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Works directly with software developers, product managers, and content editors to evaluate and test new or modified software programs, communicate status, and follows software development procedures to ensure that programs function according to user requirements and established guidelines
  • Writes, revises and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain (maintain) quality of software
  • Make recommendations for program improvements or corrections
  • Exhibits leadership skills while mentoring team members on executing manual tests



SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS



  • Skill evaluation: Behavioral (80%); Coding & Technical Challenges (80%)
  • Knowledge/hands on experience in C# / .Net and how to QA in multiple browser environments, preferably from E-Commerce industry
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Including the ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and teaching skills
  • Uses sound judgement to identify issues and escalates, when appropriate
  • Testing knowledge in multiple browser/API/Environments/Stress/Load/Performance
  • Knowledge / Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge / Understanding of reviewing requirement documents, to ensure the requirements are achieved
  • Knowledge / Understanding in validating the user expectations are achieved, during the testing process
  • Knowledge / Understanding in SQL 2016 or above
  • Knowledge / Understanding on testing different types of software products, system architectures, OS platforms and languages desired
  • Ability to work independently with team and cross function teams
  • Well organized and self-motivated with a strong attention to details and ability to multitask
  • Accepts the changes positively and helps others to adapt to change.
  • Flexible to work nights and weekends, as per business needs


Web QA Analyst I



  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.


Web QA Analyst II



  • Contribute to creating acceptance criteria for user stories, that will determine "definition of done".
  • Develop testing that covers areas such as scenarios, database impacts, regression testing, error/bug testing.
  • Actively participate in PI Planning/reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, risks, etc.


Requirements



  • 2+ years QA Analyst experience required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.
  • 2 years of experience developing scripted tests for manual execution - using an automated test tool desired
  • Experience with Stress/Load/Performance/Mobile Testing is a plus
  • Experience in SQL 2016 or above
  • Experience testing variety of different types of software products, system architectures, OS platforms and languages desired.
  • Experience in Visual Studio, GitHub/TFS
  • Experience working in SAFe Agile environment
  • Experience in validating Acceptance Criteria using testing process
  • Experience in validating the user expectations are achieved during the testing process
