DIGIT is looking for a Network Administrator to support the design, implementation, monitoring, management, change management, software upgrades, problem/incident resolution, and root cause analysis of network circuits and devices as part of a large technology refresh initiative. The Network Administrator shall focus on implementation and coordination of wired and wireless network equipment across hundreds of sites across the globe, remotely coordinating the work. The individual will utilize tools to provide predictive heat mapping, onsite surveys utilizing Ekahau, and Cisco Prime Infrastructure. This includes supporting the implementation of Software-Defined Access (SDA) at Regional Office Buildings. Additionally the Network Administrator may be required to perform Level / Tier 2+ Network Architecting and Administration of applicable networks to include Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), and Data Centers assigned by GSA. The following are REQUIRED for this position: * Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain * ITILv4 Foundation Certification within 120 days of start date. * Previous experience with vulnerability patching and IOS upgrades. * Previous experience supporting and operating Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN) sites * Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. * Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. * Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. * Perform systems management and integration functions * Proven ability to work independently in a full and/or partial remote environment with limited supervision. * Possess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients. * Maintain standard working hours per the DIGIT contract and to be available for meetings, and other collaborative efforts during working hours. * Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. * Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
