Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, office areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with managing authorized entry for employees, guests, and vendors.
• Support daily operations by communicating professionally with staff and visitors, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests and/or incident follow-up as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
