What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor management requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, confirming authorization, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs per site policy.
• Monitor alarms, access control systems, and communications channels; report unusual activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing directions, coordinating notifications, and documenting events according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
