The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are seeking an HR Operations Administrator to join our growing HR division. We offer opportunities for continued growth and professional development, empowering you to build a long-term career. The HR Operations Administrator supports the HR Operations team through Workday administration, compliance reporting, administrative tasks, and coordination of HR Operations projects. This role also contributes to process improvement, data tracking, and operational efficiency initiatives, Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policy and procedures and provide high-quality employee support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry of employee lifecycle information in Workday, including processing termination paperwork and related documentation.
  • Support HR compliance efforts including EEO-1, AAP, I-9 administration and reverification, unemployment claims, and monitoring regulatory requirements for new states and legislation.
  • Lead and support HR Operations projects and continuous improvement efforts, including creating and documenting processes and identifying opportunities for automation.
  • Support data analysis and tracking of HR operational metrics to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • 2 years' experience managing projects of programs preferred.

  • Strong research capability required.

  • Ability to take broad instruction and achieve a successful outcome required.

  • Strong comfort with and ability to work with ambiguity required.

  • Strong customer service orientation with demonstrated care and concern for others required.

  • Strong decision making and sound judgement required.

  • Strong ability to draw connectivity between discussions, projects etc. and previous assignments required.

  • Strong MS Office skills and be above average in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.

  • Strong communication skills required, to include:

    • Ability to express self-both written and verbal
    • Ability to draw discussions to conclusion
    • Ability to speak in front of a group and interact with senior company leaders.
  • Ability to excel in proactively engaging with employees to provide a holistic approach to answering questions.
  • Baseline understanding of the HR functions preferred.
  • AA or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $41.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
