General Information: JMU's Youth Programs department is looking for instructors to teach exciting, educational courses for our summer College for Kids Program! This program provides an enriching, educational, and fun experience for rising K - 8th grade students! It gives children the chance to expand their horizons by exploring a topic of interest. Children will work with experts (JMU staff/students, teachers, etc.) to discover talents they never knew they had, explore new ideas/fields of study, and develop a new passion for learning! Duties and Responsibilities: * Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans/activities Qualifications: * Experience working with children (teaching, mentoring, camp counseling, or similar) Additional Posting Information: Conditions of Employment: Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
