Job Description
Position Overview

We are seeking a Cloud-Native Software Engineer (Junior to Senior Level) to design, develop, and deploy secure microservices and platform services supporting identity, collaboration, metadata, and foundational platform capabilities. The engineer will build backend services, APIs, and containerized applications operating within Kubernetes-based environments across multiple cloud platforms.

This role focuses on developing resilient, scalable services aligned with modern cloud-native architecture, DevSecOps practices, and Zero Trust security principles.

This is a reusable engineering role supporting ICAM, Collaboration, Catalog, and Foundation service domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native backend services using Node.js, Golang, Python, or C++

  • Build and deploy containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL services using OpenAPI / Swagger standards

  • Develop frontend components and user interfaces using React and TypeScript / JavaScript when required

  • Integrate applications with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Argo tooling

  • Implement secure coding practices and identity integrations supporting RBAC, ABAC, and Zero Trust architectures

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile Scrum environments to deliver scalable platform capabilities

Required Skills

Experience developing software using Node.js, Golang, Python, or C++
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
Hands-on experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience using Git-based CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI or Jenkins
Experience working with YAML-based configuration tools such as Helm or Kubernetes manifests
Experience working with Linux-based development environments
Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
Familiarity with OpenAPI / Swagger API documentation
Understanding of secure coding principles and DevSecOps practices
Certifications:
DoD 8570 / IAT Level II
Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKAD)
