Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Systems Analyst to provide technical and analytical support for a U.S. Army missile defense system. This role involves software and system analysis, verification and validation, code review, test execution, and reporting.

As a Senior Software Systems Analyst, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and reviewing plans and reports to ensure system and software operations comply with requirements and design specifications.
  • Reviewing design, system, and test documentation related to requirements and test outputs.
  • Providing technical expertise in data analysis throughout the verification and validation process.
  • Developing post-processing analysis tools and visualizations to assess system performance.
  • Performing detailed performance analyses, generating actionable insights, and recommending architectural or algorithmic improvements.
  • Supporting and enhancing automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins) by creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipeline jobs, scripts, and plugins.
  • Collaborating with internal and external team members on daily technical activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active or eligible for DoW Security Clearance.
  • Strong programming skills: C, C++, Java, Python, HTML, MATLAB.
  • Experience with SDLC (Waterfall and Agile), V&V testing, and data validation.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, software standards (MIL-STD), and structured repositories (GIT, SharePoint).
  • Ability to participate in customer meetings, document findings, and remediate issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience reviewing SRS, SDD, and other CDRL documents.
  • Experience with requirements, traceability and analysis.
