Job Description Job Title: Consultant, SS&C Genesis / Advent Investment Suite Locations: Jacksonville, FL, Fort Worth, TX \| Hybrid About the Role SS&C Advent delivers financial technology solutions and services to financial services clients in the asset management, wealth management, and alternative investment space around the globe. The Consultant will support SS&C Advent's Geneva enterprise portfolio accounting application. Blending financial industry knowledge with technology skills while implementing and upgrading Geneva. This role will gain exposure to multiple client environments. Upgrades provide a unique opportunity to learn the latest and greatest features bundled with Geneva releases. You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments. How You Will Make an Impact Conduct client site and remote implementations of SS&C Genesis and Advent Investment Suite products, including workflow review, setup and hands-on functional and technical training. Analyze business and technical requirements to anticipate and address client needs. Configure and automate products to optimize client workflows. Occasional travel to clients. Travel is estimated at 5-10%. Manage time to maximize agenda and delivery of critical components. Execute on planned implementation tasks to maximize client satisfaction. Communicate project status to client and SS&C project managers. Specify and/or develop and test custom reports. Build conversion and system integration mapping tools. Assist clients in the reconciliation process. Required Experience Working knowledge of SS&C Genesis and/or Advent Investment Suite or expertise with similar portfolio accounting applications is required. 4+ years client experience in the financial services industry is required. Solid working knowledge of hedge and private equity fund accounting at portfolio and fund levels. Ability to effectively and efficiently manage time to maximize productivity. Ability to learn quickly and independently by gathering information from a variety of sources to acquire the knowledge needed to complete assigned tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to present information to both technical and nontechnical individuals. Ability to gain credibility quickly while engaging clients. Ability to be self-directed and work independently. Demonstrated technical aptitude. Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
